The GCM South West Regional Incident Management Subgroup has been created to bring educational programs on Incident Management to the Will County, IL area. Programs include accident reenactment demonstrations, Workshops on Interstate and Highway quick removal procedures & presentations on up to date Incident Management concepts. |

A.W.A.R.E. Certified |
| What exactly is A.W.A.R.E. Certified?
A.W.A.R.E. stands for Act With Awareness Recovery Education. The premise of this Training Program is to educate the Towing Industry about handling Hazardous Materials and the EPA\OSHA Standards. |
| For Example if a Towing Company who has been A.W.A.R.E. Certified pulls up to a accident scene where a Semi-Tanker has rolled over, the first priority of the Tower would be to check the tank placard symbols and then respond to recovery in accordance with the handbook. This A.W.A.R.E. procedure ensures the protection of the working crew & natural environment. |

William Parks and the University of Illinois have teamed up to bring this program to the Municipalities and Towing organizations. Also, the program is taught by University of Illinois Certified Instructors. |
